IELTS One Skill Retake is a new feature that allows test takers to retake any one section of the IELTS test (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking) if they feel they haven’t performed to their best in that particular area. This feature is available for both IELTS Academic and General Training tests

Terms & Conditions for IELTS One Skill Retake

You have to apply for IELTS one skill retake within 60 days of original test date.
Available for computer based test only
Not available for Paper Version of the Test
Any Module can be retaken.
You can retake one skill only once
Variable fee applicable (contact your exam center)

If you didn’t show your full potential in one of the four skills on test day, IELTS One Skill Retake can help you get back on track 1. You can choose to take IELTS One Skill Retake at any test center where it is offered 1. It’s easy to book! You can book IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test day 1. The cost of IELTS One Skill Retake varies depending on the location. Please contact your local test center for more information.

After completing IELTS One Skill Retake, you will receive a new Test Report Form. This includes your updated IELTS One Skill Retake score as well as the results for the other three skills in the original test 1. You can choose whether you use your original or your new Test Report Form.
